We are a group of just under 60 people, men and women, of different ideals, religions and cultures, whose aim is to improve the standard living in the local and global community.
To this end we work together to raise money through various projects (visit the projects pages) large and small.  Moneys raised are donated to various organisations - again local and global - and are used to provide educational and cultural opportunities for young people, we add to moneys raised internationally for worlwide projects such as Polio Plus - which aims to remove Polio from the work (and has almost succeeded) and other similar projects.

We support the Literacy movement and take part in various reading projects for small children, and provide books for those who may otherwise not have any.

We have built vegie gardens in two primary schools in the local area, (and intend to build more)

We also fund community events in the local area such as the 'Young at Heart' Christmas luncheon for senior citizens, and Australia Day.

We entertain ourselves both on informative and fun Club nights and other outings and events, dinners, breakfasts and the like and enjoy many Rotary events - dressing up when the opportunity arised.

All in all belonging to Lower Blue is fun.
